A Sweet Way To Cool Off

01 Aug

I’ve been craving sweet treats but with no air conditioning and bloody hot weather it’s been difficult satisfying my sweet tooth. That was until I found this recipe for No Bake Peanut Butter Pie. It makes two 9 inch pies, so I was able to have one for me and one for everyone else. ;)

I’m extremely happy to only be early in my pregnancy during the summer months. The pukey tired stage is over and everything is going wonderful so far. I met with the midwives for the first time last week. They are both incredible ladies! We listened to the baby’s heartbeat and basically did all the other routine stuff a normal o.b. doctor would do. I was amazed and excited to hear how the home birth process works. I think it’s going to be a wonderful experience to birth at home. In the meantime, I’m going to do my best to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy and start planning and preparing for this little bean to arrive.

Oh, and here are some other no bake sweet treats to help keep you cool the rest of the summer in case you don’t like peanut butter:

Candy Bar Freezer Dessert

Black Forest Freezer Pie

Frosty Freezer Pie

Lemonade Icebox Pie

My name is Shar. I enjoy sharing my daily adventures as a wife, mother of four (almost five), homeschool teacher, disciple of Christ, and small town girl. My latest adventure is doing my best to buy, cook, and feed my family good, real food. Life is a crazy whirlwind of Dr. Seuss books, dirty diapers, and doctrine. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks for the recipe Shar. Michael is a huge fan of PB pie! As a matter of fact, he is just a pie lover all around! :-)
